I need your help in the movement to cure arthritis

Hello friends and family. It is time again for the Prince William Area Arthritis Walk. I cannot believe how fast the year has gone by. Alexis continues to take weekly injections to keep her arthritis at bay. At the last doctor’s appointment we were told that Alexis’ lab work was a little elevated and that the medication needed to be increased. Now Alexis gets two injections once a week. On the positive side, Alexis has no visible inflammation and she is getting around better than ever.

This summer we had to put her arthritis on the back burner, and focus on her heart. As most of you are aware, on July 1st Alexis had a cardiac catheterization. The doctor was able to dilate her vessel and put off heart surgery for another year. Alexis recovered nicely from the catheterization and is now back to her normal self.

I hope that all of you can join our family in supporting our cause by making a donation to the Arthritis Foundation in Alexis’ name. This year Alexis is more involved in the cause and is looking forward to her family and friend’s support. Also, we would love for each and every one of you to walk along side of us. Alexis continues to amaze me as she deals with the hand she was dealt. We always say that things could be worse and we truly believe that. Thank you in advance for your consideration. And remember, don’t be a stiff, support arthritis!
